Boilers heat water, often to the point of boiling (hence the name). The resulting hot water or steam is then pushed through pipes or a radiant heating system to heat whole buildings.

When God’s people gather together, more important than physical heat is the spiritual heat and energy of the church, dependent on God in prayer.

Charles Spurgeon identified the Boiler Room of Prayer, where people would gather to pray for the upcoming church service, the needs of the church, our community, and around the world.

The Boiler Room will be in the foyer of the Sanctuary, the left side room.

The goal is to have 3-5 people be praying during the morning worship service. There will be a prayer guide that covers a variety of categories, including prayer for the different parts of the service, the pastors, deacons, church members, guests, salvation, healing, our community, our nation, other nations, local churches, government leaders, etc.

1. Who can serve on a prayer team?

• The Boiler Room is for people who know that God is calling them to pray… but are bad at it! This will take normal people and teach them to pray by praying.
